I say us, because this blog is about my interactions with many people, probably including you.
This blog was started because I want to recognize and thank the people who have made my life "RICHER in QUANTITY" through business dealings or "RICHER in QUALITY" through personal interactions.
I want to share my newfound richer through our interactions, by contributing $1.00 to the Scouting Movement for each interaction I've had that made me "RICHER" on a daily basis.
Each day I will post the names of the people I've had contact with and set aside a dollar in their name and will send this to Scouts Canada on a weekly basis.
This may sound crass but I just got this idea from the title of a book "Appreciation Marketing". I have always wanted to come up with a steady way to say "THANK YOU" to various people. This may just do it.
Why "APPRECIATION AVENUE"?
Well, being a schmaltzie, I have lived a lot on Memory Lane, so the next street over that I am moving over to is "Appreciation Avenue".
